Recently, SERAPHIC, the leading digital TV browser solution provider, is pleased to announce that it has joined WAVE (Web Application Video Ecosystem) project as CTA (Consumer Technology Association) non-member to contribute its know-how in digital TV industry and support the specifications defined in WAVE project.

CTA is the preeminent technology trade association, promoting growth in the $351 billion U.S. consumer technology industry through market research, education and public policy representation. CTA is also the owner and producer of CES.

The WAVE project, hosted by CTA, aims to improve how internet-delivered commercial video is handled on consumer electronics devices and to make it easier for content creators to distribute video to those devices.

SERAPHIC participates in WAVE with the same objective as CTA to ensure content creators to distribute video cross DTV terminals and Sraf Browser, the Chromium/Blink based digital TV browser SDK provided by SERAPHIC, is widely deployed on DTV and STB devices made by numerous major manufacturers. With the support of specifications defined by WAVE project, e.g. Web Media API, content providers, consumers, manufacturers, all will benefit from the good video interoperability of Sraf Browser.
